The North Green Story
From where it all began to where we are now, we are delighted to share our journey and our passion for education and cyber security.
How it all began
It all started from a shared passion for education and teaching and a firm belief that educating people about cyber security is critical in today’s digital world. We’re dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations to protect themselves from cyber threats. Fast forward to 2019, and North Green Security was founded.
The North Green family
Based in Cheltenham, the cyber hub of the UK, we’ve grown fantastic links with the local community, which has helped us to build a strong foundation for our business. We recognised the importance of educating new and existing professionals and end-users, as well as security assessments to help companies understand their vulnerabilities. Our goal was to make a difference and contribute to a safer digital world.
With this goal in mind, we focus on dedicating as much time as possible to support a range of good causes and outreach projects. We are a proud supporter of TechVets, helping veterans launch their careers in cyber security, as well as a member of the West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre who work tirelessly to hep secure SME businesses against digital threats.
At our core, we’re always collaborating and creating new teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience for our clients. One of our proudest achievements is the creation of our online e-learning platform, North Green Academy. It’s an innovative and interactive platform that offers comprehensive cyber security training to individuals and organisations, from technical skills to awareness training.
Our approach and how we work
We strongly believe in the personal approach when it comes to working with both our clients and our students. We understand that every person we interact with is unique and have their own set of needs and challenges; and we strive to provide a tailored service that meets those individual needs.
For us, this means taking the time to get to know our clients and students on a deeper level. We ask questions, we listen, and we take the time to understand their goals, aspirations, and concerns. In doing so, we’re able to provide personalised guidance and support that’s tailored to each individual’s needs.
We believe that this approach is particularly important in education, where students can benefit greatly from personalised attention and guidance. By taking the time to understand each student’s strengths and weaknesses, we’re able to provide targeted instruction that helps them to succeed.
Ultimately, we believe that valuing this approach helps to build stronger relationships with our clients and students. When people feel seen and heard, they’re more likely to trust us and a partnership is formed.

We enjoy spending time with the staff and students at Gloucestershire College and have worked with them to provide industry insight and engage students in innovative and novel projects, and technical activities and challenges.
The TechVets charity is close to our hearts at North Green Security. Both our founders were raised in military families and understand the challenges of leaving the forces. Through our partnership, we are able to reduce the barriers of a transition into a cyber career.
Sharing our knowledge with the next generation is incredibly rewarding. Our involvement with Cyber First gives us the chance to engage with young individuals and inspire them to think about how technology is used and their own career aspirations.
